Picket for Prevention
April is Prevention Month and you help Emma’s House by buying a picket for the new fence. Emma’s House needs a fenced area around the house, so that children have a safe area to throw the football, visit with a pet, or play in the butterfly garden. This project is spearheaded by our local Army National guard office and will coincide with our annual child abuse prevention bike ride on Saturday, May 3rd 2014. The National Guard soldiers will build the white picket fence, but we need to purchase the materials well in advance so that they can do the cutting, sanding, and painting of the pickets before May.
Your name or business will be engraved on a plaque that will be attached to your pickett. This will be a great visual reminder to kids and families who visit Emma’s House, that we are a COMMUNITY that CARES about KIDS!
