Hamilton woman facing drug, obscenity charges

A 46-year-old Hamilton woman is facing drug and obscenity charges after allegedly providing a child with marijuana and asking the girl to photograph her in sexual positions.

Jennifer Sue Hiscoe appeared last week in Ravalli County Justice Court on three felony drug counts and three misdemeanors, including obscenity.

Court records said an 11-year-old girl confided in a family friend and later her mother that while visiting Hiscoe at her home, the woman had insisted she smoke marijuana with her, showed her lewd photographs on her phone and had the girl take photographs of her.

At a subsequent interview at Emma’s House, the girl said Hiscoe had put on clothing resembling an inappropriate swimming suit, and then had her take photos while Hiscoe posed in various positions.

Court records said Hiscoe undressed and was naked in front of the minor child.

The girl also said Hiscoe put marijuana into a pipe and placed it into her mouth, court records said. Hiscoe then allegedly told the girl to breathe in and slowly exhale.

Court records said Hiscoe told the girl not to tell anyone about this so the girl wouldn’t get in trouble.

During a subsequent search of Hiscoe’s home, Hamilton police found two methadone pills.

Court records said Hiscoe admitted to having the girl take the photos, which she said she sent to her husband. She also allegedly admitted smoking marijuana, but said she had not given any of the drug to the girl.

Hiscoe was charged with felony counts of criminal production, criminal possession and criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. She also faced two counts of misdemeanor criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of obscenity.

Ravalli county acting justice Nancy Sato set bail at $10,000.
